It all started with the MODelec system, which won the State Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia for Design and Innovation in 1987. Three years in a row, this system won a different award for its incredible construction.

In 1997, EVOline won the Rudolf-Diesel Gold Medal due to the design and execution of the very first self-regulating residual-current circuit breaker for decentralized systems.
